PROCESS OF ALLIGATOR "ANIMAL IN INK"

This was perhaps my most ambitious project yet. By this point, I wanted to end the year off with a bang. I was already behind schedule and knocked out the rough draft in around 2 hours (based on the reference you see below). The class after that, I used the Light Table to transfer a rough outline onto the final paper. From there it was smooth sailing. I finished the top half of the head in around two classes, the mouth in the next, and then the lower jaw in the third class and lunch. The rest I completed separately throughout the week and at home. On the day of our final, all there was left to add was the blood pattern, and I was done. I had a lot of fun with this project and wish to do more like this in the future!
